Mentorship Experience

Mentored an MS student in my lab to design a novel face mask to prevent COVID-19, 2021/22.

Mentored an undergraduate student for her Summer Research Fellowship Program and trained her to use SolidWorks to design and 3D print Braided fabric structures (Summer 2022).

Mentored an undergraduate student in her honors degree project and trained to 3D model the weft knitted fabrics and 3D print using the FDM method (Fall 2021).

MECH 3150 Dynamics Lab

(Summer 2021, 1 section, 20 students) (Fall 2021, 4 lab sections, 60 students)(Spring 2022, 2 sections, 30 Students) (Summer 2022, 6 students) (Fall 2022, 2 sections, 35 Students) (Spring 2023, 2 sections, 32 students)
• Simulation of slider crank mechanisms using Solidworks and MATLAB.
• Taught mechanical engineering undergraduate students in the lab.
• Delivered lecture on theoretical aspects of the mechanisms related to the lab.
• Assigned lab assignments and final project, grade them (900 assignments graded during Fall 2021) and provided feedback one-to-one.
• Conducted in-person office hours (2 hours) and via email to interact with students and help them solve their problem.
